Program Statement

In keeping with the Christian mission and purposes of Taylor University, the graduate program in higher education provides preparation for thoughtful and effective service within diverse higher educational settings.

We invite you to join us in the Master of Arts in Higher Education & Student Development program where you will work shoulder to shoulder with other students who will help you to connect with current research, be challenged to think critically and form a personal philosophy of higher education that will guide and inspire your work with college students.

Completing this Master of Arts will prepare you to impact lives of college students in a variety of ways. This degree is foundational to service in virtually any area of leadership within a college or university. This program is designed to produce leaders who are prepared to promote "whole-person" education in a variety of areas.
